Saracens fly-half Owen Farrell has been ruled out of England's third test against New Zealand on Saturday with a knee injury.

Farrell, 22, will miss the final test of the series in Hamilton because of a strain to the medial ligament in his left knee.

The former Wigan player will return to the Sarries for further assessment and treatment once the tour ends.

New Zealand have an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series.
