London Broncos’ leading scorer last term, Josh Drinkwater, has returned to the NRL after agreeing a deal with Wests Tigers.

The 22-year-old Australian scored 136 points for Joey Grima’s Broncos last term as they were relegated from the Super League for the first time in their history.

Drinkwater initially joined London from St George Illawara just under a year ago and has now returned down under to join the Tigers on a two-year deal.

"I'm very excited to be back home," said Drinkwater. "Once this opportunity came up, I was over the moon."

In total, Drinkwater made 25 appearances for the Broncos, scoring five tries and 58 goals.
