Barnet Elizabethans returned to winning ways on Saturday, beating Cheshunt 20-5 after consecutive away defeats.
The win also returned the Elizabethans to third place in the Herts/Middlesex League 1.
Harry Eade kicked two penalties and scored a try, with Matt Harris and Nick Michael both going over in the first half. The second period was a closer affair, but the Elizabethans eased to the points.
After two defeats against Thamesians last term, Hendon ended the hoodoo with a 21-14 win in Herts/Middlesex League 2.
John McCarthy, Lee Linale and Brian O’Regan were the Hendon try-scorers, with Linale converting all three to seal the points.
With RFU Cup fixtures taking place this weekend, both teams have a weekend off before resuming league action on Saturday, November 15.
