Saracens' Brad Barritt has been ruled out of the rest of the Six Nations with injury but five of his club-mates have been included in the squad to face Scotland.

Barritt injured his ankle in Sarries' 26-17 win at London Wasps and will subsequently miss Saturday's Calcutta Cup clash at Twickenham.

However, Billy and Mako Vunipola, George Kruis, Richard Wigglesworth and Alex Goode are in included in Stuart Lancaster's 35-strong squad to face Scotland (5pm kick-off) in their penultimate championship fixture.

Exeter Chiefs fly-half Henry Slade has been called into the squad to replace Barritt and head coach Lancaster told the RFU website: "The weekend’s games gave us plenty to think about in terms of looking at guys who will have benefited from the additional game time.

"It’s unfortunate that Brad was injured but Henry has been playing well for Exeter and it’s good to be able to call him in."
