A primary school choir performed in front of thousands of people as part of Chinese New Year festivities.
Ten children from Risley Avenue School, in The Roundway, Tottenham, sang Happy New Year in Mandarin at the London Eye on January 30 as the wheel was lit red and gold to celebrate the Year of the Horse.
On February 2, the choir performed traditional Chinese dances in Leicester Square.
Robert Singh, the school’s headteacher, said: "Being a part of the New Year celebrations was a fantastic experience for the children.
“They showed great talent in performing their song and dance routines and the quality of their singing in Mandarin after only a week rehearsing was quite remarkable.
“The whole school community is very proud of them."
