A 46-year-old man was stabbed in Muswell Hill in what police described as a horrific' assault.
The man was knifed in the stomach and also suffered a fractured skull and a broken nose in the attack, which took place on March 14, at 3.35am, in Cromwell Road, close to Friern Barnet.
The victim, who lives near where the incident took place, was taken to The Whittingon Hospital in Archway, but his injuries are not considered life-threatening. Two men are assisting police with their enquiries.
Detective Inspector John Cardow, of Barnet police, said: "This was a horrific and violent assault.
"Police strongly believe that there are family and friends of the attackers who know what happened.
"I urge these people to come forward. I can reassure the community that we will bring to justice all those that were involved in this attack."
