A man has been airlifted to hospital after suffering a serious head injury.
Police were called by ambulance at 12.53pm today to Cromwell Road, in Borehamwood, to reports of a man who had fallen from a ladder.
It is believed the man, who is in his 40s, has suffered a serious head injury and is being airlifted to St Mary's Hospital in London for treatment.
Herts and Essex Air Ambulance has been approached for a comment.
