Investigations are ongoing after a man died following a fire at a bedsit.
The first floor of a three-storey house in Alexandra Road, Hendon, was destroyed by the fire on Saturday (January 28).
One man who was in the loft managed to leave the building before the London Fire Brigade arrived.
However another man was rescued by fire crews and taken to hospital after they were called at 6.33pm.
The brigade has now issued an update stating that the man later died.

The fire was under control by 7.58pm after 15 firefighters from Hendon and Mill Hill fire stations worked at the scene.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
