COMMUTERS using North Harrow Underground station this summer will experience a visual treat as pictures created by arts students from Nower Hill High School go on display.
Seventy images acknowledging the influence of world renowned artists such as Dali, Magritte, Escher and Lichenstein have been created by students on the expressive arts programme at the George V Avenue school in Harrow.
Now their masterpieces are being shared with users at the busy Station Road site as part of 'Platform for the Future', a new initiative launched on Tuesday which aims to create art galleries in otherwise redundant space within tube stations.
Nower Hill High School's Headteacher Howard Freed said: "This is a wonderful opportunity for our pupil's work to be on display and for people to see the quality of art in our school."
