Welcome to the EBOG weekly review. On a drizzly Saturday the 1st’s performance seemed affected by the dismal weather with little fluency or style. Things got worse when a long range effort skidded past Gary Haycock to put the 7th placed Old Alleyn’s ahead. However, with the fire power from Sam Berry and Rob Laney available, EBOG were always the likely victors. Three beautifully taken goals sealed it but it wasn’t until the last 15 minutes that the tension was removed.
